Eagles vs. Wildcats

Wildcats vs. Eagles

Ahhh, Homecoming. One of the best weeks of the year. The games, the assemblies, the many disqualifications for juniors, and of course, the football game. This year, the game was even made better by the fact that we were 6-0 and first place in the Southern Badger Conference. Last year at this time we hadn't won any games. (also that year, Homecoming was our ONLY win). For me, the game was also big because we had a new Halftime show, featuring Beatles music. But enough introduction. Time for the report.
The game started fairly close. For a few moments in the first quarter, we actually were tied with them. But, that passed, and we went on to win. Unfortunately, I don't remember the score. (If you know it, email it to me) But we won, and we're now 7-0. SEVEN AND ZERO!!! I can't believe it.
As for the marching, it sucked. Not in the sense that it wasn't enjoyable, but in the sense that we sucked. Our marching was horrible, and this can be attributed to one thing: The freshmen. But that's not important cuz we're undefeated. Woo! Also, it was fun at the end cuz we rushed the field. Mr. O'Connell was there, but he still was cool and actually let us do it. He just said, "Just stay off the goalposts and don't be mean to Verona."
Well, see you all next week.
