Eagles vs. Spartans

Going into this game, I was not looking forward to it. It was the first game in which we had to march at halftime. Well, we got into the stands to watch the game, and in between us and the student section was...a bunch of grade school students. Annoying, loud, stupid, and numerous, they kept shaking the bleachers. As a result, I couldn't put my tri-toms down or else they would fall down through the bleachers. So, I had my tri-toms on for 2 and a half straight hours. My back still hurts. Anyway, we played "No Business Like Show Business" and "America The Beautiful" and it went well. Now, on to the game.
We went into this game 3 - 0, and expecting to win. The first quarter was fairly back-and-forth, and at halftime, it was 20 - 12, with us in the lead. After the halftime march, I returned to the game with about 8 minutes left in the third quarter. I then discovered that they had already rowed the boat, which in case you weren't paying attention to the previous MG game stories, is 1) my favorite cheer, and 2) the cheer that me and shvotz led two weeks ago. Now, as I understood it then, the students were glad for us to be leading it. But apparently not. Anyways, I tried to leave since I had no use there (and I was pretty sure we would lose), but while I was walking away, Shvotz and Joelle picked me up and dragged me back to the stands. So, I stayed for the rest of the game. I didn't really watch it, though. All I did was yell at stupid ghetto freshmen and talk to Joelle. We actually had a long, fun conversation. Anyway, the game ended with a suspenseful series of yards and points, and we won 34 - 32. We are now 4 - 0. That's right. Undefeated, baby, whut!
