O Brother, Where Art Thou?

O Brother, Where Art Thou?

Starring George Clooney, and some other guys, "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" is a movie I didn't see voluntarily. Joelle told me to see it, claiming that it was very funny and that the three main characters were exactly like me, Tear-E, and Shvotz. So, I went to the Hollywood Video and rented it. And this is what I thought.
From the start, I could tell this movie was gonna be weird. The story takes place in the early 20th century. It's about three convicts who run away from the chain gang in search of a treasure that had been previously stolen by Clooney. They get their chains taken off by one of the guys's brother. So, they run across Mississippi chasing the treasure. In the meantime, they make some money by singing at a radio station. Unbeknownst to them, their record is gaining in popularity and they're becoming singing sensations. Based on Homer's "The Oddysey," this movie is, well, OK. This definitely isn't one of the best movies ever, but it's definitely not bad, either. Overall, I give it a rating of 6/10.
