Night of the Living Dead (1990's Version)

Last nigt me and Bert rented some movies. One of them was the 1990's version of Night of the Living Dead. This remake is awsome for a couple reasons. First the guy that wrote and directed the original had a big part in this movie, second Tony Todd. That's right Tony Todd plays the lead character!

The movie is about seven strangers that meet up when zombies start roaming the rural countryside and eathing human flesh. They hide in a house with two guns. The big jerk of the story Cooper is constantly at ends with Ben, Tony Todd's character. The special effects are great and the story is compelling. Ben has a truck, but it's out of gas. The house has a key in it to unlock the gas pump near the house. They try to find the key. Eventually they do and a guy, his girlfriend, and Ben use what's left of his gas to get to the pump. I don't want to give away the surprises of this movie so I can't really say much else except it makes for a good watch. Also one of the last scenes is awsome. Overall I'd give this move a 7.5 out of 10, it's slightly above average.
