Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back

This was the funniest movie I've ever seen. Having seen the previous four Kevin Smith movies ("Clerks," "Mallrats," "Chasing Amy," & "Dogma"), I understood all the inside jokes, which make up a fair amount of the movie's comedy.
The movie starts off at the Quickstop convenience store, showing how Jay & Silent Bob ended up permanently loitering outside the store when their parents abandoned them out front. In the present time, store managers Dante (Brian O'Halloran) & Randal (Jeff Anderson) finally call the cops and have a restraining order issued against them. Forced to wander, Jay & Silent Bob visit Brodie (Jason Lee), who tells them about the movie being made based on the comic book which was based on them ("Bluntman & Chronic"). When they tell him that they haven't recieved any money from the movie, He advises them to track down Holden (Ben Affleck) and demand their money. So they do, only to find that Holden sold his share to Banky (Jason Lee) and that the movie starts filming Friday. On top of all that, they see that a lot of kids are making fun of them on the internet. So, they set out for Hollywood to stop the movie's production.
Filled with hilarious cameos (including but not limited to George Carlin, Chris Rock, Sean William Scott, Joey Lauren Adams, & Matt Damon), this is, as I stated before, the funniest movie I've ever seen. There are lots of inside jokes, but there are still enough regular jokes to please those who are seeing their first Kevin Smith movie. I give this film a 9/10.
