First, let me begin by saying this is just my opinion. Shvotz & the Terry disagree with me. Also, let me say that I really like Kevin Smith movies, particularly "Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back" & "Mallrats." But "Chasing Amy" was horrible. It it wasn't a Kevin Smith movie, it would've been the worst movie ever. The only things that kept it funny were 1) The scene with Jay & Silent Bob, and 2) Jason Lee.
The plot sucked. Holden (Ben Affleck) falls in love with Alyssa (Joey Lauren Adams), except she's a lesbian. Holden's roommate Banky (Jason Lee) tries to convince him that she won't change for him. But Holden refuses to give up, and continues to try.
Filled with stupid plot twists and impossible scenarios, "Chasing Amy" starts off really good, but quickly declines in quality until the end, which is the worst ending since "Planet of the Apes." I give this movie a 2/10.
